Ive been looking at some kegerator kits online. Now you need to drill through the top correct? I was under the impression that if you puncture the sides of a fridge, that it won't get cold any longer. What am I missing about this?

Well it won't get cold anymore if you punture a freon line or a coil. You have to find a place that you know you will not damage anything and cut there.

Yea I had a bad experience in my dormroom a while back. One of "those" nights....you know the mad quanities of B,M,C.... Well there was quite a bit of frost build up inside and we couldn't fit all the beer in. Anyways... a knife seem like a good idea to defrost with at the time. I put a very small whole inside, and well that was the end of that fridge.
