Does anyone know of some good blank brewing log pages I could print out ?

Right now, my method is to keep notes on the recipe page .. sketchy to say the least.

Just looking for a decent layout but do not want to reinvent the wheel..

Maybe there is some software/freeware out there ???

I dunno if you have a mac or not, but BeerAlchemy has a great feature...it lets you inventory your recipes, and batches of each recipe. That's my recommendation.

You make a good suggestion though. I'd be happy to make one up if there's enough interest/suggestions. I was thinking the following:

Recipe, Date Brewed
Mash Schedule & Mash Notes
Boil & Boil
Fermentation Date (Primary, secondary, etc) & fermentation notes
Packaging Date, Distribution, & Packaging notes
Date ready for consumption & Lagering/Maturation Notes
Other notes

I use ProMash. I think it costs like $25. The UI is sort of dated, but it does let you log and store "brew sessions". In each session, you can alter the recipe (without affecting the master recipe), make notes about the mash, ferment and taste, and gives you handy calculators for each step of the process. I keep a 3 ring binder and print out each recipe before I make it. Then I have a sheet with my main calculations and info I need to record in the front. I can write on the cover of the notebook with a grease pencil and make my notations, then take it back inside after the brew to log all of my info into the computer. Keeps things organized and simple.

You can also finalize your inventory. This will subtract the ingredients from your inventory in the program. Comes in handy if you buy in bulk.

I like the Brew Log Sheet from Country Brewer .. it's all I need ...

Thanks so much -- I think this is what I need
