I have a hard cider that I am moving to a secondary tonight with some cinnamon and splenda. I want to try gelatin but will it work at room temp?

Room temp in FL right now is is 75-82 approx.

I could throw it in with my beer fermenting at 68 if that ould be better.

That's what I did when I used gelatin for the first time and my beer got chill-haze. I haven't had the opportunity to try adding it into cold batch yet, but I hear that works best to eliminate chill-haze.

Even if you throw it in at 68, it won't make a huge difference, since you will (I assume) be drinking it when it's about 20-30 degrees colder.
