Boil Time: 60 minutes
Expected Efficiency: 75-80%

Ingredients:
7# Pale Malt, Maris Otter
12 ounces Honey Malt
8 ounces British Crystal Malt I (45 SRM)
8 ounces British Crystal Malt II (65 SRM)
.75 ounces Target hops 60 minute boil (10.5% AA)
.5 ounces Fuggles hops, 5 minute boil (4.0% AA)
Wyeast #1728 Scottish Ale yeast

Estimated OG: 1.047-1.050
Estimated FG: 1.013-1.014
Estimated Color: 10.3
IBU: 28.7
Estimated ABV: 4.39-4.68

Mash at 154F for 90 minutes with 17.5 quarts (2qt/#)
Sparge with 11 quarts at 168F for 10-15 minutes.

Using the BIAB method for this...

Planned primary time: 3 weeks.
Plan to carbonate to about 1.8 CO2 volumes.

Any thoughts?

Figure this could be a good brew, with a touch of honey flavor in it. I've not used Honey Malt yet, so if you have, let me know if 12 ounces in a 5 gallon batch is a dangerous level... I don't mind a strong flavor, just don't want it to overpower everything else...:mug::tank:
