Hey all,
Potentially stupid mistake or stupid question, lol.
Like an idiot, I assumed all the parts I'd need for my MLT cooler conversion would be 1/2" and not 3/8". Took my Rubbermaid 10 gal apart and following the instructions, slid the rbber gasket from the cooler over teh 1/2" brass threaded nipple. Wasn't easy. It was THEN that I realized I had bought the wrong sizes.
The gasket is rubber, so I shouldn't have ruined it by stretching it over the 1/2" brass nipple, eh? Looks ok and it fits back in, I'm just worried I may have stretched it a bit.
