[musicians] When was your last gig?

I sat in with a big band Thursday night and sightread the trumpet 3 book. It was a blast, got to blow a solo on one chart, and I'll be playing with them full time. A few weeks before that, my ska band played our last show ever (sniffle sniffle).

the final Roxxxy gig was late 2010. I'll be in a band for about 2 years, then remember why I quit the last band...then in about a year need to join a new band, thus restarting the cycle.

Two years. I don't miss all the drama, the schelping and the horrible pay, altough I do miss hanging out with the other guys and that fleeting feeling you get when everything falls just right and you know that at that moment, you're making music instead of coordinated noise.

I might try to get back into it once I graduate, altough I very much doubt I will have the time
