I've been setting up my new rig and am a week away from my maiden brew on it...I've chosen to do an Imperial IPA. I used to brew for fun and competition...but have decided just to brew for myself. Check out my recipe and feel free to add any comments. Let me know if you think.

Brewing for yourself is the best kind of brewing. I have thought many times over the 10+ years that I've been brewing about submitting my brews for competition and have always come to the same conclusion: I like my beer, why send it off?

Sounds like a good batch. I would maybe bump up the biscuit to no more than 1/2#, but that is personal preference; I like the flavor that biscuit malt provides. Other than that, sounds good.

Good luck!
