A nice "Schtick" of Cologne to go with my socialist "Arm and Hammer" toothpaste oral hygiene. G'night.

21st amendment "Sneak Attack" saison. BTW- I just discovered that there is no way to rotate the image once it's been uploaded. Hmmm, oh well.... I sorta wanted to get sideways anyhow :eek:

I'm due to go to work tomorrow afternoon, so I'm finishing a Boddingtons Pub Ale, and looking on the net at a few Harley's I'm gonna look at when I get back home. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be bringing one home soon!

Weird,this is a local beer here. Glad you like it. I like it as well, they have a Hopipotimus Rye coming out again,its pretty good. As well as the farmer brown. I think the best beer we have around which is actually across the river in Illinois is a Bent River- Uncommon stout-its a coffee beer but its like the best coffee I ever had but In a beer.It smells better than every fresh roasted coffee Ive had.:mug:

++++++ for Uncommon....

So glad they are distributing it around the Quad Cities

Gravity sample for my Founder's Breakfast Stout clone. Intense chocolate aroma (stronger than the coffee which surprised me a bit.) Tastes awesome - can't wait for this one to get to bottle!

Nothing again. Working. Oh well. Ill be kegging/ bottling the Zombie Dust clone tomorrow and I have a stable of bombers to hit up while SWMBO and I work on it.

How it that Nord? Bitter and grassy like most fresh hop ales?

It's exactly what you'd expect from an SN IPA. It's definitely got that cut grass fresh hop character to the nose, but more so when it first comes out, it's there but the brew's more mature now. It's really piney too, lots of hop resins. Similar malt flavor to Celebration and Torpedo. It's pretty good, but you could do just as well buying a 6er of Celebration (they call that a "wet" hop), this is just a hair better.

How does it compare with the Harvest beers?

You win. Hands down! :ban:

she loved the Smirnoff Ice Black Cherry, but they discontinued it while she was pregnant with our first son. and a little off topic: I'm having a hard time finding Vinoka's Peach Cider kits for my wife. she doesn't really like beer or wine. it's the one thing I can make for her that she loves. I've got 1-2 more sources to try before I give up.

My esb. NZ Hallertau hops make for a nice one.:) And it strangely falls somewhere inbetween the Anvil-esb and 8-bit pale(not as nosey though) I just had previously. I think mine would almost taste similar if I mixed the two commercial beers together.
