I'm new to the beer brewing side, have several batches of mead in various stages right now. Ordered a kit from Midwest Supplies... a java stout kit. I read reviews saying they added cocoa powder and I plan to do that to mine as well (go in big, so says I!).
I wish I had a wort chiller, but I don't so will do the best I can with what I have. Maybe for my birthday
Oh yeah. 30 year old single mom to a 10 year old, work full time, college student part time (2 classes/semester, usually). Trying to find a job closer to home because my 90 mile commute (office changed location) is killing me gas wise and is cutting into my hobby money... and believe me, I still need lots more equipment and another pail of honey, so it better knock it off... There's stuff to BREW!
