So I just racked to my secondary and there's a ring that's darker on top of the beer. I don't know if it's just the lighting or what but the top inch of beer is definitely darker.

Looks like the yeast settling out.

Yup, yeast is settling, the light is not reflected from the suspended yeast and it appears darker!
