So, my wife bought my son some natural deodorant. I looked at it and wondered what natural ingredient they use to combat odor since deodorant is kind of like wearing a fragrance and fragrances are usually made of chemical compounds that aren't natural.

Well, by the name of this thread, you guessed that they use hops. Kinda cool, isn't it?

From the ingredient list:
Other Ingredients
Name Purpose Source

Humulus lupulus (hops) [CO2] extract Deodorancy Hops (Humulus lupulus) cones

I noticed that in the Arm and Hammer Natural deodorant and thought it was interesting. I actually really like the natural deodorant and found it worked better than the normal stuff, but it makes my skin break out.

I noticed hops on the ingredients list of some hair mousse my wife bought.

I havent heard or thought of that word since the 80's.:D.
I made some hop aftershave, all it is is 3/4 oz of ala your favorate hops dryhopped in a jar from a bottle of witch hazel for 2 weeks.Done and done.
