Hello All,

Just looking for some guidance on a batch to use just the ingredients I have in house. I am going to Keg this batch for a weekend of beer drinking with a lot of non beer drinkers (keep that in mind).

What I've Got...

6.6# of Light DME
1# of Crystal Malt
1# of Biscuit malt
1# of Black Malt
1 oz of Shaaz, Cascade, Willamette
1# Light Candi Sugar
Muntons Dry yeast 6gm

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Sounds like a start for a Dark Ale to me.

Maybe cut the Black in half.

Saaz for 60
Cascade for 30
Willamette for 15

Maybe do the Saaz for 45 if they aren't typical beer drinkers.?

No sugar

Leave out the black and only add half the crystal and half the biscuit. I would do Cascade 1 oz for 60 minute (maybe 50 minutes) and Willamette for 30. By my calcs you should have an SG of 1.068 and ibu of 21.6. The color will be about 10 (gold to copper). This should please your non beer drinking friends and still be enjoyable by you.
