I am getting ready to start making some higher gravity IPAs for spring. In the past, they've come out ok, but I never quite get the hop intensity(in terms of aroma) in the final beer.
I've read a lot about the hopbacking and it seems like this would be perfect for getting the aroma profile I want. At the moment I've only found one hopback available at Morebeer for 90 bucks. And, it's not sealed, so one would have to manually regulate input/output of wort.
So, I'm wondering if anyone has ordered this and modified it to be sealed? Or if anyone know where I could order a sealed one, or has had any luck making their own? I'm really not much of a handy man when it comes metal working.
If anyone has suggestions or easy DIYs, please let me know!!
