I have all of these kegs( no questions please...;)) I know how to get the spear out of a Sanke, but how to with these 50 Liters ??

I can't find nuthin anywhere, and they are wacky

I have wondered the same thing, was considering cutting up a guinness keg for a boil pot, but i would cut the top off anyway.

1. Remove the snap ring
2. Use pliers to lift up on both "ears" inside the tap. You may have to wiggle it back and forth to get it to come up.
3. Spin it counter clockwise, and it will unscrew out

I spent 30 minutes yelling at the keg before I figured it out. I also attached some of the pics from my jig that I built to cut the kegs evenly. (First time with pics, hope they work!)

Or PM your email and I will send them to you.

left click or ctrl click your image in shutterfly, select copy image address, go back to homebrewtalk, click the picture icon in your post, and paste the url.
