I'm going to be cloning a 10 gallon recipe of amber ale with the following grains, but want to switch out the 40L for 60L. Here is the original recipe:
14.0# 2-row
4.0# Munich 20L
3.5# Caramel 40L
1.5# CaraPils
OG: 1.056
SRM: 12.7
I'll have 2-row, Caramel 60L and CaraPils in bulk when I brew so I'd like to substitute the 40L for a bit less 60L, and increase the 2-row. Something like the grain bill below, do you see any problems? Or will this alter the taste noticably?
14.5# 2-row
4.0# Munich 20L
2.5# Caramel 60L
1.5# CaraPils
OG: 1.055
SRM: 13.1
