I am thinking of doing a dunkelweizen for my second batch of beer.

I am hoping to find an extract recipe that is fairly authentic to a German dunkelweizen.

I have 2 oz. of tettnanger hops on hand that I would like to use.

I also have 6 pounds of amber DME on hand but from what I have seen that should not be used in this type of recipe.

My fermentation area is hovering around 64 right now which seems good.

Probably not the ideal place to post, but I thought I would post in the beginner's forum and see if someone can point me in the right direction.

Any help would be appreciated!

6 lbs wheat malt extract
0.5 lbs chocolate malt
1 lbs light dme
1.5 oz tettnang at 60 min
0.5 oz tettnang at 30 min
0.5 oz tettnang at 5 min
wyeast 3068
primary 7 days @ 60
secondary 14 days @ 60
hope this helps found this recipe in my brewing book.
