Camco Element Question

I've been looking for heating elements locally, specifically looking for the Camco 5,500 watt ULWD Ripp Element (02963) but can only find the Camco 5,500 watt Lime Life Element (15597) that is stated to be ULWD but IS NOT rippled back over itself. Anyone have any info on the difference? I can't find the 15597 element on the Camco web site...just trying to figure out if I NEED the RIPPLED element for HLT and BK.

Anyone? Anyone? Home Depot doesn't sell a rippled camco, only straight/bent back over elements. I did find a 5,500 ULWD rippled at AceHardware but is more expensive.

Buy it online if you really want the ripp element, but if it's ULWD it should be fine. And I know there are some on here that use the HD elements and swear they don't have any issues.

The geometry is not what determines the watt density. Watt density is determined by how the manufacturer made the inner element.
