So I have ordered an Brewers Best Imperial stout 1 Gallon kit. The Abv range it suggests it will be at is 8.1% - 8.6%. I would like to bump this up to 10%

The plot thickens, because I am planning on tweaking this to make it into a Bourbon oak maple imperial stout(Trying to mimic CBS stout). This is my schedule I created for it, any comments/ critiques are welcome!

(not including the standard instructions I will add)
*.5 Fl oz of grade b maple syrup at 30 mins.
*.5 Fl oz of B syrup at flameout.

*.75 oz of whole beans to fermenter after 2 weeks.

Move to secondary after 1 month, while adding..
*.5 oz Oak chips that were aged in 1.5 oz of Bourbon.
*.5 oz of the leftover Bourbon liquid.
*4.5 oz of Grade B Maple syrup (I would like a noticeable maple taste)

After The chips have been in Secondary for 2 months I will remove them, and then further age the beer for 8-12 months. Then batch prime with dextrose and bottle.

Here is my Googled sources/inspiration:

Update*
I've decided against adding maple syrup during the boil, as I'm reading that its going to dry the beer and add little to no flavor
