Hi all,

I just bought a March 809 pump and am considering upgrading to the 815 impeller if needed. I plan on using it with a mobile brew sculpture built out of a 6" wooden ladder.

The pump has 1/2" NPT connections on it with an ID of 3/8". I also bought some of the recommended 1/2" ID high-temp food grade hose.

My kettle, mash tun and counterflow chiller all have 3/8" hose barbs with an ID of 1/4".

I want to be able to push:
1 - water from the kettle at ground level to the MT or future HLT
2 - wort from the kettle through the CFC into a carboy

My kettle hose barb is from bargain fittings and has a 1/2" NPT connection so that is easy to replace.

I may be answering some of my questions while typing, and I hope I have all the terminology correct, but in any event any tips are appreciated.
