I know that oak is a typical wood to be used in adding flavor to a beer, Has anyone used other various wood chips? being that the BBQ season is starting up there are a lot of Hickory, Mesquite and other BBQing woods available i was thinking of trying out some Hickory chips, maybe soak them in some bourbon first? Just wondering what other woods people have tried?
