Here is a recipe I have for an oatmeal stout. I was wondering if I can just steep all of the grains or do the oatmeal and munich grains need to be mashed?

5.0 lbs Unhopped Light Dry Malt Extract
1.0 lbs Flaked Oats
.75 lbs Munich Malt (Crushed)
.75 lbs Chocolate Malt (Crushed)
.75 lbs Roasted Barley (Crushed)
.25 lbs Crystal 60L Malt (Crushed)
1.0 oz Tettnang Hops
.40 oz Cluster Hops

Yup. Add a couple of pounds of Pale Malt to the grist and use DeathBrewer's excellent stovetop mashing procedure. I think it's in the Beginner's section. Wherever it is, it's stickied right at the top. Don't forget to adjust down your extract to account for what you get from the pale malt.
