So I have 3 thermometers -- the one on my keggle, and two manual ones that I use to calibrate. All three are off. The two manual thermos are about 10 degrees off. Unfortunately I didn't whip out the second thermo until I had doughed in...so right now I have no idea if I'm mashing at 140 or 160...

Any thoughts or solutions?

One of these thermometers is telling me exactly what I want to see -- Mid 150's Mash, and Sparge water right under 170. The other is telling me my mash is at 160 and my sparge is at 180...lol

No help now, but buy a cheap digital one from the grocery store next time you are there. <$10. It's all I use anymore - it doesn't float but all it takes is about 10 seconds to get a reading anyway.

Yeah, that's what I'll have to get before my next brew. I have zero idea what I mashed at today -- I know it was high though. Hydrometer is saying something converted though. Hopefully this beer turns out half decent...
