I used to travel there for work quite a bit. I found very little of interest in Salinas. I would usually try to stay in Monterey as there were some better restaurant and hotel options.

Anyone know if Enlish Ales Brewery in Marina, CA is still open? Their website doesn't appear to have been updated since 2006.
