Anyone have any problems putting a carboy directly onto the floor of a chest freezer?

Are the coils just in the walls?

Thanks,
Jeff

As far as I know the coils are just in the walls. That said, I just put a towel down on the floor.

You're using this with a temp controller, right? If so, it's a non-issue as you'll be monitoring the temp of the beer (with the probe taped to the side of the fermenter and insulated). The freezer won't be operating at freezing temps anyway.
