I have that exact cooler, although I have never mashed in it. I think it would do very well. The plastic is likely food grade, and that cooler holds temperatures very well. It is also a nice size for all 5 gal batches and many 10 gal batches.
 
All Rubbermaid coolers are "Food Grade"
The other good thing is at normal temps of 150 and max temps at less than 180, plus the fact that there is no alcohol in a mash, you are pretty unlikely to leach any chemicals from plastic anyway.
 
ok great, im going to go ahead and get it going then. i called rubbermaid to see if it could handle high temps and the lady said "no, its for cooling use only" so... but i guess shes just supposed to say that to cover their ass...?
