seems so natural to me, but found very little about it. anyone try?

Curious about:
-using it in the wort (use the juice, zest, either/both?)
-adding lime juice to the secondary, or while bottling
-has anyone come across any lime flavoring additive?
-any other ideas using limes that I am not thinking of? --besides adding a wedge to a pint :D

for future reference - what about lemons?

I think the most useful way to get lemon or lime flavor is by using the zest.

I recently did an APA where I added the zest of 4 lemons: 1 each with the flavor and aroma hops additions, and 2 in the secondary. It has only been in the bottle about 3 weeks, and the lemon is a touch on the harsh side right now, but I'm guessing it will mellow.

I thought it was the "dry hopped" zest that was giving the harsher taste, but someone here suggested it was probably the one that boiled for 20 minutes in the kettle.

Just be careful that you are only getting the zest and none of the white pith which is very bitter.
