Hole in Grain bag?

Cleaning up from yesterdays brew I noticed I have a rip in the bag about the size of a quarter. So, I was wondering if I should have my wife try to sew it up or if anyone has a better idea on fixing it.
I've only used this bag 3 times and I'd rather fix it if possible as opposed to buying a new one.
Any ideas?

geez I mean you've gotten 3 uses out of it. THose paint strainer bags are cheap, just pitch it. Why take a chance?

Perhaps you could tie a knot at the hole.

Why would you have your wife try to sew it? Can't you use a sewing machine, or (gasp) a needle and thread?

I live a hour away from my "local" supply store. If I can rig equipment to save $20 in gas I'm game too.

I toss my grain bag when I'm done with it. I mean, it's only .70 cents.

I never operated a sewing machine.....Sorry, that's womans work..
