Hi I hope this will be both a discussion and a help me choose thread...
When you bottle a batch of beer/mead/cider/wine.... do you bottle in all the same bottle type/sizes or do you vary it up a little?
Example: I have a 1 gallon (imperial ~5L) batch of a peach wine ready to be bottled. I plan to bottle 1 or 2 in wine bottles, and the rest in 330ml (~12oz) bottles. Some I will prime for carbonation.
For those of you who keg but bottle "a sixer", do you mix up the sizes or just use the same?
The other items I have due bottleing are:
1 gal Mixed Berry Cider
1 gal Lemon/Lime -ade
1 gal Garlic Chillie Wine
Thanks
Options and Opinions?
(I hope this discussion won't be limited to what I have to bottle)
