what I am wondering is if you have a fridge with the water dispenser in the door would it be possible to use that as your beer tap?

I don't see why this would be a problem but thought I'd ask before I try it.

It might work if you could plumb the keg to the water dispenser (removing the water line obviously); however, I would think the size of the aperture (at least on my water dispenser) would result in nothing but foam.
