Hey all!

A friend of mine is looking to get started into the wonderful world of brewing. He has a strong desire to start off AG, as it goes with his whole cooking philosophy. I only have 2 batches under my belt, both being extract, so I am way too big of a noob to have any sound advice for him.

Any one have any suggestions for a first-timer? Warnings? Tips? Ideas for a simple mash-tun? I'm sure anything would be appreciated.
