If I am steeping specialty grains in my extract recipes, and some of the grain pieces come out of the bag (I can see them floating in the wort after removing the grain bag) and it is common knowledge not to boil specialty grains. I don't squeeze the bag and it is in there at around 150F for 15-20 mins. But would I technically be boiling the small amount that came out of the bag holes, and releasing tannins into the finished product? Or do I just need to RDWHAHB?
