I recently purchased two 15 gal Mini Brew fermentors as an all in one option to racking, ect. I have been using buckets and carboys to get the hang of things. Today I am going to try my hand at making a Strawberry Cabana mead.

Does anyone out there have any experience with these units that can offer some helpful tips as well as any pros and cons?

Being that these are not see through like a carboy what is the removal of lees process like. Do you sinply open the valve a little and let it fall into a bucket until it appears as a clear fluid?

Any thoughts or assistance is appreciated.
