I know these are all over hte place but I made a starter and it over flowed (I didn't realize how much it was krausen). anyway, it's overflowed and definitely lost some yeast to it, though I'm pretty sure I could still pitch it and be okay, my question is about contamination...what with all the drippage along the side. Anyway I can clean that off without contamination? Or is it already contaminated? Anyway, I included a pic:

You are fine. Nothing is going to get up in there. This exact thing happened to me a few weeks ago overnite. I just sanitized a sponge and wiped it all off.
Not sure how you are going to do this, but I would cool it down, decant, and pour it in when I'm ready to pitch.

Sounds good. I was mainly worried about contamination. I'll clean it off and put it in the fridge.
