Cranberry Beer?

I'd like to make a cranberry flavored beer that is not a lambic.

I also cannot mash as i dont have the equipment for AG, just a glorified extract brewer with steeping and such.

any ideas?
 
I would imagine that you would do a wheat or blonde ale with low AA hops like Hallertau or Saaz and add the cranberries to the secondary. I have a #3 bag of cranberries from xmas in the freezer and it is something I am contemplating as well. I have done a Raspberry wheat and wonder how Cranberries would be since they are very tart
