i have 4oz of brewcraft strawberry extract im going to add to this blonde ale before bottling... do i need to heat to 165?

I've used fruit flavor extract exactly once; I did not heat it before adding at bottling time. I would think that heating it would drive off flavor and aroma that you want in your beer.

If it has not been contaminated you are ok. Usually if you open it and smell it only you are fine. If you opened it and rubbed it against raw checken, I would warm it up.

Those extracts contain alcohol, so I assume they're sterile. I've used watermelon extract twice, banana extract, and strawberry extract and never heated them. Dump them right in to secondary and rack the brew on top.
