I've always used table sugar to bottle prime with using the Tastybrew calculator. However today I see we are out of sugar (thanks kids...lol). Anyway I have a few packets of what I believe is maltodextrin that AHS supplies in their kits for bottle priming. Question is, on the tastybrew calculator there is a column for glucose/corn sugar, sucrose/table sugar, and 3 for different styles of DME. With Glucose I need 3.1 oz, with sucrose 3.0 oz. If what I have is in fact maltodextrin will I still need the 3.0/3.1 oz, or would it be different all-together?
