WLP001 in Cider

How did this go? I have some 001 washed and in mason jars, thinking about using some for ciders!
 
Ale yeasts yield nice ciders IME, especially if you plan to cold crash, bottle condition, and then pasteurize. If you are going for higher ABV (above 9.5%) and plan to take it all the way dry, then a wine yeast is more appropriate IMO.
