Sheesh I bet the coyotes are running scared. Last bunch I sold I got 20 bucks for them and it is just not worth dragging the out and then skinning them for that.

Few years ago a coyote tried to eat a kid here

Some counties around here pay a $100-$200 bounty for coyotes, no skinning necessary

Damn! That would be cool.
In order for there to a bounty like that, there must be some sort of cattle, chicken, sheep or some other type of farming industry around there.

Gah, I can't stand day-old bread.

Most of it's getting consumed in the form of PBJ's and grilled cheese sandwiches, and 6 year olds are slightly less discriminating. Personally I can't stand to see food go to waste, and we eat sometimes two loaves of bread a day around here. I'm always looking to save money on food since it is my biggest outgoing expense after my mortgage. I suppose you won't eat leftovers either?

Some food tastes better leftover. My mother's chicken Marsala is f'ing amazing leftover. I really need to convince her to make that soon.

This thread is more friendly.

We owe it all to Dan the man!

This thread reminds me of this Edward Hopper painting. Dan's in the white.

By God I'm going to have to look at that on my computer instead of phone but I get the idea.
I would say that's about as accurate as you could ever sum it up.
Beer instead of coffee but the idea is the same.
Friend sitting around shooting the breeze about whatever comes up. Comfortable enough you don't even need an agenda.

Exactly!

I've been looking for some sort of art, and now I know it's that painting. Thanks for sharing! :)

I've never been in taproom but this thread is mad chill. Judging from the music there are a lot of hippies and we have NYPD here if anyone gets stupid.

You don't have to be a hippy to enjoy the music of the era!
It is what was on the radio when I was a kid and it certainly helped change the music scene forever.

Just a bunch of night owls hanging out.

Of course I'll eat leftovers, I just hate day-old (or older, of course) bread. I guess if one is talking about the sliced bread you get at the supermarket that somehow lasts for ages it'd be different, but I can't stand that stuff either, unless it's toasted.

Both great songs.
It's not easy to pick a David Allan Coe song that can only be posted in the members only section.
I don't play his CD's with my daughter in the rig.

For those of you who said cool thread Dan, or something like that. Thank you and I'm humbled. I didn't make this thread you guys did. I nearly deleted it after I wrote the first post but glad I didn't.

It's past 2300 EST Airborne so now I can get funky. Next song up one fitting of this website I think. Strange Brew (Eric Clapton ROCKS!)

Dang it. I'm going to have to get on my computer soon so I can contribute musically to this thread.

Is 22:05 and my boss just told me he may be moving me to swings. Anyone know of anybody hiring in the Central Valley of California? It's not cost efficient for me to work and pay daycare for my child to have someone else raise her.

Pappy, that song was incredible. By the way, did you know your name spelled backwards in Arcadiackligjongnesean, translates to man of awesomeness and wonder? It's a loose translation but pretty sure I got it more or less correct.

With my job as a surveyor, I've worked out of town quite a bit in my time.
Right after my daughter was born the company I worked for wanted me to go out of town for a job.
I quit right then and found another job.
I'm with you on your thinking.

You only get one chance to get their childhood right.
Life is about priorities and the kids are the highest priority.

EMT jobs are pretty scarce right now. I've never had a problem enjoying any wok that I do. I really didn't like sales, but I was good at it and when I owned an insurance agency I enjoyed the people and the relationships I made. That made it tolerable. I've turned my hand at many things in life and always made the best of it. I wish I could just inherit a quarter mill or so and get this dang brewery open!

I was a card carrying, carrying, colored Mohawk wearing punk for years. Never stopped loving it.

On an older generations note, just had a quick hello with the Temptations. Really nice guys. Taking pictures in a Casino is a big no-no for employees so no pictures.

Know idea what the eff they are saying in this song. But sounds like a great running cadence, if you have the lungs.
