I've got ~2500ml of yeast in a gallon jug harvested from a 1.060 ale and I'm trying to guesstimate how many cells are in there. Mrmalty is somewhat helpful but the numbers vary greatly depending on harvest date, thick vs thin and non-yeast %.
Thinking I may go a little bigger next time (1.075ish) and most of what I've read says not to reuse from beers over 1.065ish. Any tidbits of info on this would also be helpful.
