I am trying to aquire enough malt and hops that I don't have to go to a HBS...
I want to be able to do pale ales, IPA's. wheat beer and a pilsner...

I have a:
50 lb bag of US 2 row
50 lb bag of white wheat
50 lb bag of pilsner malt
10 lb Munich 10 malt
10 lb Crystal 40 malt
10 lb Crystal 60 malt
10 lb Honey malt
10 lb Carafoam
10 lb Carapils
10 lb Chocolate

1 lb ea of:
Arg. Cascaders
US Cascades
N. Brewer
US Tettnang
US Fuggles
Liberty

I notice when I check receipes ...I am usually missing something...Like...
Flaked wheat, flaked rye, victory malt...

Can someone help me fill in the blanks in my stock pile...What do I need? Thanks

If you are looking to make APAs and American IPAs, I would get at least one other American aroma-type hop.

My favorite American hops:
-Centennial
-Amarillo
-Simcoe
-Chinook

And cascade, which you listed. You can make fine APAs and IPAs with just cascade, but you might run out fast and variety is nice.

I like Victory in my Porter and Brown and not much else. With ten pounds of Chocolate malt you probably will do some of those too. You certainly can make Pales, IPA, and wheats with what you have. Some high AA hops like Magnum or Warrior hops would be nice.

Thanks for that....I have really bad ADHD and I can only remember things for a few seconds...I write it all down...

I will pick up a bag of pale malt next time I'm at More Beer...
I put all my smaller qtys of malt in 2 gal buckets today...Seems to work...
I know I need some Victory malt, flaked rye and wheat...
Saaz, Centennial. Perle...Looking for a lb ea...
I may just mail order the smaller qtys to save gas...Thanks for the reply...
