I just tasted my first home brewed port beer. It came out real hoppy and sour. Does any one have sugesstions or might know why it came out that way?
 
Without the recipe posted we can't really answer. But the first thing that comes to mind when I hear sour is wild yeast....

This is akin to asking, "I just made chicken that tasted wrong. What happened?"

Well... unless you give us a few (or many) details, there's really no way for anyone here to analyze the problem, is there?
