After installing all the lights, switches, and both PIDs in my panel, I think it is too small to fit all the components inside. I underestimated the size of the contactors. Instead of redoing everything, can I install the contactors in a separate panel? Then just run the wiring through some conduit to connect the two. I would hate to have to spend more money and time to redo it.

You could put the contactor in a seperat box and run wires pretty easilly. That was whatt I was planning to do until a freind in the sheet metal trade built me a box that fits into my space perfectly. Don't need to break them up mow.

Yea I would hate to spend another 100 or so on a larger panel. Plus the time it takes to lay everything out and drill all the holes. I can run that separate panel to a remote location on the stand.
