I assumed and i shouldnt have.... Last week i transfered my Irish Red (LBH Extract with some extra grain kit) to the secondary and let it sit till tonight. I filled my test glass with beer before i bottled and didnt actually take a reading until the bottles were capped and put away to condition. The FG acording to the instructions should be 1.012 +/- .002. I measured it out to be 1.018. Once transfered to the secondary it looks like it didnt do any additional fermenting at all! Is the .004 too high a FG enough to make bottle bombs?
