So after going through a couple of crappy burners a wall mart $34 POS then a Sportsman's warehouse http://www.sportsmanswarehouse.com/sportsmans/Eastman-30QT-Aluminum-Fry-Combo/productDetail/Fryers-and-Oils/prod9999003123/cat101728
That didn't work very well either. Now i'm going to be going to the HB shop for the first time in a while this week and i've got my eye on two different models.

http://store.homebrewheaven.com/bayou-classic-propane-cooker----185000-btus-p1480.aspx is the cheapest and still gets 185,000 BTUs $54

http://store.homebrewheaven.com/bayou-banjo-high-pressure-classic-cooker-with-10-cast-iron-burner-p1499.aspx this one is almost double the price and only puts out an extra 15,000 BTUs. Is there anything that makes this superior? $95

Lastly this bad boy. http://store.homebrewheaven.com/floor-standing-stainless-steel-propane-burner-p1754.aspx Which after some searching i found only is 75,000BTU????? and for $135 without the legs $170 with!!!!
I'm more concerned about a quick boil then efficiency since i have 2 kids and time is money! Suggestions?

I have the bayou sp10 which is 1st on your list. I have no complaints and recommend it. Also you can get it for $10 cheaper on amazon.

My first burner was the SP-10 (the one you linked for $54), which is a great burner for the money IMO. It's loud, innefficient, and the stand needs modification to hold a keggle securely, but it's cheap and puts out a ton of heat. The banjo burners are quieter, more efficient, and can be converted to NG or low pressure propane with a simple orifice swap. The heat output is pretty comparable between them.

The only difference between the two banjo burners you have linked is the stand. I'm not seeing the with and without stand options for the more expensive one, just with the SS stand for $135. The actual burner inside is the exact same as the one you linked for $95. Where did you see the 75K btu rating? Since they're the same burner I'd think they'd have the same btu output, but maybe the SS stand burner comes with a lower psi regulator.

taking a closer look it does look like the same inner burner. I'm thinking i'm going to go with the $95 one is the stainless one going to hold up that much more?

I wouldn't get any of the three. I'd get the Bayou Classic SQ14. Pretty cheap (about $50) and the surface can safely hold a keggle. My friend and I use the SP10 but it's just a wee bit too small for a keggle so we have to mess around with a grill on top of the burner to get it to work with our keggle.

I don't stink stainless would be worth it unless you were going to leave it outside, In which case the cast iron burner would rust anyway.
If ya get black and it rusts or anything, all ya have to do is get some HI-Temp BBQ paint, spray it and it will be good as new.

The main advantage the SS banjo burner has over the other one is the distance between the burner and the pot. It burns more efficiently and transfers more heat to the wort.
