is 60,000 BTU Burner Enough

You only need 25,000 BTU per barrel. That is more than enough. Don't scorch your wort!
 
Wow, I have just had a new boiler for my home, typical 8 room house and that is less than 60,000btu. Amazin !
My burner is however only 2.7kW (I don't know what that is in btu) and it's really inadequate.
 
Looks like a nice burner and has good reviews - several of them home brewers. Thanks for the link. Pretty sure I will be picking one of these up!
 
How long does it take to reach a boil? I'm assuming quite a long time.

Now that I think about it..we also have a firebox where the burner shoots the flame into. It's far more efficient than what I use at home! Didn't really take that into consideration lol.
