Hi! I've recently brewed a Maple Syrup scotch ale. Although it does not taste maple syrup. I followed the receipe at first, where I mashed my grains in maple water. Then I add .5l of maple syrup after boiling. When I transfered, I tasted the beer and it didn't taste maple at all. So I add 1 extra liters to the beer. (I brew 23l batch) which looked enough at that time. Now I've bottled and it doesn't taste anymore.

I feel like everything gets fermented and there is no maple flavor left. Any idea what should I do?

you could try it in a secondary.

or if there was anyway to figure out the sugar in the syrup you MAY be able to use it for carbing the bottles but i dunno how successful that would be.

just spitballing here..
