Just got back from the NS-LHBS with the makings for Bent Rod Rye, more honey, misc. stoppers & airlocks and two boxes of Northwestern Light, 80% Barley & 20% rice @ $2 for 1.5 kg. 3 kg is about right for a summer session ale, so I'll brew it for a few months. Joel also had some basic Better Bottles at a good price, but I so used to having spigots on my buckets, I passed.
 
Rice?? Going for a Bud light clone? ;)



Nah j/k man that should be a good summer recipe. It's great to hear guys starting on the summer beers already! That implies summer's just around the corner. Not like I can complain we have only seen about 2 cm of snow so far this winter.
