My wife's uncle lives in PA and wants to trade a few local brews for a few that are only available down this way. So what is only distributed in that area that I should try?
Where does he live?
That might seriously impact what he has available to him.
I just assumed Soudts was more widely available, like DFH. Victory is more widely available than I had thought. No one has mentioned Stoudt's yet.
As others have mentioned
Victory, Wyerbacher, Lancaster Brewing Co, Troegs (gotta get you some Troegenator!), Appalachian Brewing Co, all good PA brews.
If you're looking for regionals from the Northeast, then DFH is good, Ommegang (Hennepin is the best), Clipper City
I'm not really sure actually. I'll have to ask my wife after work.
Looking through Victory's site right now.. looks delicious
So many beers... I can't possibly just pick a 6 pack...
And that's just the local beers. There's a lot of imports in the Philly region that aren't available in many places in the US, especially Belgian beers.
SShhhhhhhh you're only making it worse
Oh, I can make it way worse... check out the beer list at a "deli" the street from me:
