Purchased my second beer kit, MWS's Amarillo Pale Ale (will be using Safale S-05) and the fellow at the store suggested a dry hopping in addition to making the brew. So, I picked up an ounce of Citra hops for dry hopping.

Is an ounce too much, not enough, OK amount (5 gal batch)?

The description of the Citra and Amarrillo sounds good to me. What are your thoughts on the outcome?

Dry hopping is fine to do in 1/2 oz increments too. If you love the hops then 1 oz won't hurt, but my last dry-hopped beer I used 1/2 oz Simcoe and it was great. If its not enough for you, then you can bump it up next time. If 1/2 is enough then you saved 1/2 oz for another brew.
