Going to go buy a Sanke SS keg in a bit. Called all the local booze shops and no one would sell me one for deposit price. Finally i called some local scrap yards, and after b.s.ing with the owner for a bit i talked him down to 12 bucks for it. Gonna have us a nice brew kettle.

Just got the keg. Cracked her open, and if anyone is curious as to what 5 year old bud light smells like, i now know. and its not good.

Questions:
Which scrap yard you got that gem from?
Did they have more?
Also, what do you plan on using for a burner?

i got it from "midwest recyclers" i think. its kinda in the shady part of town. cost me 15 bucks. yeah i think he had more. im gonna use my trusty turkey fryer for a burner. he is a cash only part of town. look him up in the yellow pages.
